Personal Protection Officers
Hidden River Security Forces provide vehicle patrol security services to our clients: A Personal Protection Officer role may involve protecting the wealthy, political figures, celebrities, visiting dignitaries, or various professionals. A Personal Protection Officer protects clients from threats, imminent dangers, and even possible kidnapping. Personal Protection Officer training depends on the particular type of work. The job may involve being armed and/or dressing in street clothes to avoid attention and find potential risks
Job Skills / Requirements
This is a Full and Part-Time based on customers' needs.
Personal Protection Officers (PPOs), keep clients safe from unwanted attention or physical harm. They are responsible for assessing security measures and providing discreet surveillance. Their work includes:

Protecting their clients from threats of physical violence.

Checking out properties, such as hotels, restaurants, and theaters, before the client arrives.

Installing surveillance equipment.
-
Surveying the layout of venues, noting potential hazards, and exposure to risks.

Accompanying the client on business and social trips.

Driving the client to and from venues.
Personal Protection Officers must have the following;
-
Good physical fitness.
-
Must be 23 years of age
-
Have at least 3 years of verifiable Full-Time Personal Protection experience and three work references

Excellent driving record
-
Excellent observation skills to spot potentially dangerous situations.

Confidence to react quickly using their own initiative.

Good vision and hearing.

To be able to work as a team.

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to remain calm when under pressure and surrounded by dangerous situations.

Discretion, respecting client confidentiality.

The ability to integrate with clients' lifestyles.

Common sense and an understanding of the risks involved.

Knowledge of law related to security.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma/GED, College diploma a plus.
Certification Requirements
LEVEL II NON-COMMISSION (TX DPS)
LEVEL III COMMISSION (TX DPS)
LEVEL IV PERSONAL PROTECTION OFFICER (TX DPS)
Additional Information / Benefits
Patrol Officers at Hidden River Security Forces are NEVER asked to use personal vehicles for company patrol work.
Patrol Officers at Hidden River Security Forces are provided a laptop computer and cell phone upon vehicle pick up and turn in at the end of their shift.
Patrol Officers at Hidden River Security Forces have 24x7 support from our Dispatch Operations.

Men and Women Veterans of the US armed forces.

Current, Former, or Retired Peace Officers; Special consideration may exist for the exemption of the Level III training requirements for current, former, or retired Peace Officers who are not currently licensed. Those who are full-time peace officers, certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), may be exempted from the Level III training requirements upon submission to DPS a sworn affidavit attesting to the applicant's review of and familiarity with the Act and the related administrative rules. Those who are retired must have been honorably retired as Texas peace officers within the preceding two (2) years may be exempted from the Level III training requirements.
