Hidden River Security Forces provides vehicle patrol security services to our clients: Patrol positions requires driving a company vehicle and walking through site properties and could include entering client site buildings.

 

Job Skills / Requirements

 

This is a Full and Part-Time position, Available Shifts, and Weekends.

 

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND OVERNIGHT HOURS. To drive a company vehicle you must have a clear and current driver's license. You may be responsible for up to 10 properties on any given patrol route. Positions require the ability to use computers, hand-held radios, and phones. 

Upon entry of clients' sites, Patrol Officers are required to exit their vehicle and conduct foot patrols at all properties unless otherwise noted. Patrol Officers are required to make contact with individuals or groups of people who are in violation in order to enforce property rules and policies. All such contacts made must be documented according to standard procedure. 
 

Patrol Officers must have the following;

 

  • Currently Commissioned with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), and have an active and unexpired Commissioned license

  • Must be 23 years of age  

  • Have at least 1 year of verifiable Full-Time Security Patrol experience and two work references 

  • Have no disqualifying criminal history

  • Must be physically fit and capable of performing the tasks required of the position 

  • Must have and maintain a neat and professional appearance 

  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions 

  • Must have a strong aptitude for safety and situational awareness 

  • Must be proficient in speaking, and writing in English 

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen test

  • Must be available to start training within 2 weeks of passing the drug screen test 

  • Must have a reliable vehicle

  • Knowledge of law related to security.

  • Must have their own duty belt. (We do not supply your weapon (9mm handgun))

 

Education Requirements 

 

High School Diploma/GED, College diploma a plus. 

 

Certification Requirements

Additional Information / Benefits

 

Patrol Officers at Hidden River Security Forces are NEVER asked to use personal vehicles for company patrol work. 
Patrol Officers at Hidden River Security Forces are provided a laptop computer and cell phone upon vehicle pick up and turn in at the end of their shift. 
Patrol Officers at Hidden River Security Forces have 24x7 support from our Dispatch Operations. 

 

Preference will be given to 

 

  • Men and Women Veterans of the US armed forces.

  • Current, Former, or Retired Peace Officers; Special consideration may exist for the exemption of the Level III training requirements for current, former, or retired Peace Officers who are not currently licensed. Those who are full-time peace officers, certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), may be exempted from the Level III training requirements upon submission to DPS a sworn affidavit attesting to the applicant's review of and familiarity with the Act and the related administrative rules. Those who are retired must have been honorably retired as Texas peace officers within the preceding two (2) years may be exempted from the Level III training requirements.

  • Security Officers with at least three years previous Patrol Experience
